On the UCSD Campus (we are in McGill Hall, below parking lot 207)

Going south from North County:

Take Hwy 5 South and exit Genesee Avenue. Head WEST on to Genesee Avenue and go up the hill. When you get to the top of the hill, make a LEFT turn on to North Torrey Pines Road. Then make another LEFT turn on to Muir College Drive, but the street sign says “Almahurst.” (It is the street after Pangea Drive.)

Going north from San Diego:

Take Hwy 5 north and exit La Jolla Village Drive. Make a LEFT turn on to La Jolla Village Drive and go up the hill. (The street name changes to North Torrey Pines Road.) Then make a RIGHT turn on to Muir College Drive, but the street sign says “Almahurst.” (It is the street after La Jolla Shores Drive.)

Once on campus:

Once on Muir College Drive, there is an immediate stop sign. Go past the stop sign and turn RIGHT into the big parking lot on the right side, parking lot #207. Head straight down, towards the buildings, and park in either spaces #103D, #104D, or #152 (numbers are painted on the floor). Someone from our lab will meet you at these spaces with a parking permit at the time of your appointment. If these spaces are taken, please wait nearby and we will meet you with a different permit to park in the same lot.

Bus directions to the lab:

The Psychology Department is housed in McGill Hall, which is building #246, in John Muir College on the central UCSD campus. The MTS buses that come into campus are:

30 Between UTC and Downtown
41 Between VA Hospital and Fashion Valley mall
150 Between UTC and Downtown
921 Between UTC and Mira Mesa
101 Between Oceanside and UTC
3 Between UCSD Medical Center Hillcrest and Euclid Ave. Trolley Station

You can click on the bus numbers and will be taken to the MTS bus route website. Please ask the bus driver to drop you off at the stop on “GILMAN” AT “MEYERS”. After you get off the bus, you can call us at 858-822-0642 and someone will come and meet you at the bus stop.
